Profile
Niamh has a BSc. in Physics from the University of Strathclyde and a PhD in ultra-cold atomic physics from the University of Durham. Following her PhD, Niamh continued her research as post-doctoral researcher at the University of Durham, where her work focused on atom trapping in optical tweezers. Niamh then gained experience working in the industrial sector within the field of laser technology, specifically working on the development of quantum sensors. Niamh joined the patent profession in 2021 and is based in our Glasgow office supporting the work of our patent department.
