Matt’s technical background is in physics and mathematics, and he has considerable experience of advising clients across a range of engineering disciplines. Matt’s practice is centred around the energy industry and he has a particular interest in strategic portfolio management, IP due diligence, and IP litigation support.
Matt was a patent examiner at the UK Intellectual Property Office before turning to private practice in 2000.
Matt is recognised as a “Patent Star – Scotland” in the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) IP Star rankings.
